Genesis 3:1 "Serpent" or "Shining One"
The Adam & Eve story to most of us is often known as the fall of mankind, I like to look at it as the fall of our creative thought.
Going to the beginning of our creation will allow us to look at the first created beings and their first few creative thoughts. But first let me ask you this question, does the light from good and evil differ? How many bad things have been done with righteous reasoning, or doers of good deeds with hidden agendas? Like a snake, calm in nature but wicked when disturbed.
I view history like I view art, it's all about perspective (not belief). So there is no right or wrong, good or bad. The artwork displayed was inspired by my research of the Hebrew words and their original meaning. My first thoughts were, "Hmm, I wonder how many people would be uncomfortable to change their perspective based off their belief."
The Meaning:
נגה (Naga) - to shine, to radiate light
Nachash - serpent, the shining one
Let your light radiate to those around you, regardless of their perception of what's right or wrong. Be the bringer of light to dark situations, good or evil. Perception is reality, while our beliefs are imaginative. We all see something different.
